NewsPaul McCartney delays tour due to divorcePaul McCartney will not mount a world tour until after his divorce is finalised. The former Beatle is currently in the process of legally separating from second wife Heather Mills and has decided not to hit the road for new album 'Memory Almost Full' until after proceedings are finalised. "I'm going to do bits and pieces to support the album, but it won't be a major tour until possibly next year, and that's down to personal circumstances," McCartney told the Sunday Mirror. The album is released on June 4, and although McCartney is expected to play some one-off shows it is unlikely a full tour - his first since 2005 - will now take place until next year. Britney's lawyer explains why she lost custody of children Britney Spears' lawyer has published a report explaining why the pop star lost custody of her two children. Attorney Sorrell Trope believes that yesterday's (October 1) ruling was made because she did not produce a valid California driver's license and allegedly missed a drug and alcohol test. "We weren't able to prove compliance with what the judge ordered," Trope told People magazine. "Specifically, the judge ordered that by 10 a.m. (Monday) morning, both parties show valid California driving licenses. I've been unable to produce evidence of that," he added. Spears was recently ordered by a judge to undergo random drug and alcohol testing, and Trope pointed out that although she skipped a recent test, she did not fail it. Spears was ordered at yesterday's hearing to turn over custody of her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston to ex-husband Kevin Federline by tomorrow (October 3), as previously reported. |
